Incidentally unless the old toilet is cracked somehow, you really shouldn't need a whole new one because it's running or even leaking - maybe no more than something like a bad flapper, misadjusted float level or loose connection at the water inlet - a handyman with some plumbing skills might save you some money - worst case you can probably replace all the tank insides for lots less than a new toilet....
