OUCH! Your day began WAY too early.
Hope you got some rain. We did! Two inches, and did we ever need it!
And it’s COOL outside for a change.
Hope your day’s going well. No grumpypusses popping in.
Howdy MEG.
Hope you’ve had a good week and have a fun weekend ahead.
“School starts soon for some...
...so that means the fun is over!”
For the parents that means that the fun is just beginning! They are happy that the little animals are back in school! ROFL
Oh, I’m so jealous! It’s dampish and cool here but no rain yet. Enjoy it. I’m happy for you!
It was WAY too early. I was the grumpypuss! LOL! Now it’s nap time. Zzzzzzz....
Incidentally unless the old toilet is cracked somehow, you really shouldn't need a whole new one because it's running or even leaking - maybe no more than something like a bad flapper, misadjusted float level or loose connection at the water inlet - a handyman with some plumbing skills might save you some money - worst case you can probably replace all the tank insides for lots less than a new toilet....
Evening all!
Nice to see you.((((Hugs)))) You home? How is everything?

Good information...thanks. Flushing this morning produced a good flapper seal (maybe something was lodged in it last night). So I got some FlexSeal and have done a first coat on the rusted bolt. If this doesn’t do the trick...
The major issue before yesterday was a leak through one of the rusted bolts that holds the tank on the base. I’ve been using a cup to catch the leak. But if this FlexSeal works and the flapper is ok now, I’ll be happy. If not, I’ll call my handy man and have him see about replacing the insides. Saving money is a good thing. d:o)
Hey there, Kiddo...how are you and the Army doing where you are?
Family doing well? ((HUGS))
You obviously do not know what polar wallet is.
Polk Sallet is a plant found in the southern US.
Doesn’t sound as though you’d have to replace everything inside the tank - a new flapper even if needed is a couple of dollars to replace from the local hardware store - and the handyman might reset the tank with new bolts and rubber grommet to stop any relentless leaks - whole thing might cost about a tenth the price of a new toilet - good luck....
Thanks...second coat of FlexSeal on now. Tomorrow I add water and hope that something was lodged and now dislodged in the flapper. If not, call the handy man. Thanks for the help.
FlexSeal should be good, especially on the inside of the tank - I realized I should have been saying “handyperson” rather than “handyman” in these posts - good thing this isn’t a PC site - you’re very welcome for whatever help it was.....
Well, if antbody is still counting....
I just snagged #300!
WooHoo!!!
