There is a sizeable minority of conservatives in regions of the north, and many take the opportunity to escape to less liberal climes. There are lefties going south, I grant you, but not every Yankee is one, and hopefully the lefttard ones are getting diffused sufficiently to dull the affect.
I came to Atlanta to be closer to sane gun laws and conservatives. The Bible stuff was a bonus.
