Russia might want Turkish support for political purposes.
Fact is, it faces as big a threat with Islam in it’s own nation.
Islamicists, like Socialists, happily fight and murder among themselves to determine whom gets to give the orders for the other Islamicists or Socialists to sacrifice and die, and both stop when there is no one left to kill.
Both are about absolute submission.
