I saw it a bit differently, although I fully understand where both of you are coming from. Sontagged, I don't think Cruz is a team player. For that reason I don't see him as a GOPe plant. No, it's all about Ted for Ted. Nobody else figures in his grand design. As for Ted standing up for you Toga, I think that is a common misconception in the Cruz supporter camp. I think Ted was able to spin his miscalculations into something you would think of as representing Conservatism. He was very very good at it. At the end of the day though, his actions skewed against our cause. Right now he'd rather refuse to support Trump to validate his claim all along that Trump wasn't presidential. Hillary is? That's the only alternative right now. Ted has destroyed himself IMO.
