It also makes it kinda fun to “troll” them, by merely disagreeing with them in ways you KNOW they hate.

But then they ban you, and soon you start running out of alternate identities!

I never run out. On one site, on a lark, I created a second identity and then would use one in firefox and the other in IE. I figured the moderator would catch on pretty quickly. Nope. It went on for six months.

I would have conversations with myself, making sure to use different language styles so it didn’t look like the same guy. I’d “set up” one of me to make a salient point without it looking too much like a setup. It was a lot of fun.

Someone finally complained because I was just nailing them so much it was laughable. The Mod finally checked IP addresses and banned the “temp” account.

I have 37 accounts here but I only use 9 or so at once. (JK)
