Trump figured out that what he was doing was not working.
Rob Manafort was either unequipped to deal with the media sh**storm, or was a GOPe plant actively sabotaging the campaign.

Bringing on Team Breitbart was definitely the way to go.
Also speaks to Trump’s executive skills, as something was not working so he quickly made the call to change course.

Compare and contrast with Bush 43: We invaded Iraq in March, 2003, and definitely knew that there was a strong (Iranian-armed, Iranian-funded and Iranian-trained) insurgency by December of 2003. Yet, Bush waited 4 freaking YEARS to implement the surge. There is no way, no how that Trump would ever be so negligent with American lives and American treasure. He’d have been all over our generals to defeat the insurgents, and forced Iran to back off, by the end of December, 2003 at the latest. Of course, that is completely ignoring the issue of whether Trump would ever get us involved in a war of that sort in the first place - that’s a different issue for a different time.

This is the contrast between politicians that don’t have their own people’s lives on the line, nor their own money. Trump is used to working for himself, and gets things done FAST and RIGHT. He’ll bring that same outlook and drive to the Presidency - and it will be incredibly refreshing.
