It’s really, really hard to get a gun in Mexico!
Well, unless Obama is running guns to ya, that is.

What good is a constitutional right that you can’t exercise? In the meantime armed bandits of all flavors rule Mexico.

Only if you are a law abiding citizen.
I'm sure that all of the criminals have access to guns in that god forsaken s#it hole of a country.

Mexicans can legally purchase...shotguns up to 12 gauge
___________
12 gauge seems to be the most popular gauge..love the 12 gauge.
Makes the 11 gauge look like a cap pistol.

What a crappy place Mexico is.
And they come up here waving their flag as though it is a great place.
Morons.

I suspect the wealthy and powerful have no trouble getting whatever they want.
I guess they have police or military credentials, probably totally valid ones.

This explains the low gun crime rate in Mexico, right?
To: Gamecock
An eleven gauge would be bigger. I have a ten gauge, bigger. How many balls the diameter of the bore made from one pound of lead determines gauge. 12 balls per pound=12 gauge.

I think he is quoting from a Jerry Seinfeld episode. The one where Kramer is suspected of being the serial killer and they get to ride in the back of a cop car.

The term “Mexican carry” came from peons carrying handguns in their waistbands.
It was easy to ditch the piece if the federales started sniffing around.
Their constitution may “guarantee” their right to own handguns for self-defense, but they knew if they got caught with even an empty holster they faced jail time or having to pay a hefty bribe.

I always liked the 8 gauge that Everett Hitch carried in the movie Appaloosa. It wasn't really an 8 (a gunsmith altered a 12 gauge Colt 1878), but it looked kickass!

Pistols from .22 to .38, no military calibers, limited to 200
rounds of ammo per year.
Sure would like to see an honest accounting of what has gone
missing from Mexican Army and police armories.
Also, how many guns have come from Viet Nam by way of Nicauragua.
