The blue collar “class” of the USA helped give the Dems the power they have today. Look at what they call them now ... “non-college educated whites”.
My dad was a union dem his entire life ... a bitter clinger if I might add ... I wish he were around to see that snarky comment as he used to get on my case for being more right leaning due to “college” and a “white collar” job :-). The Dems have no use for butchers or steelworkers these days ... they’re pretty much garbage to them anymore.

I just recalled that the eugenics movement in the early 20th century gave the Dems a lot of power too ... I don’t care what race you are ... eugenicists were into the eradication of PEOPLE that they felt weren’t FIT for society via birth control (or other means if you had the ability to suppress news of mass murders)!!!
