Democrat vice presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine says the United States is far behind some Muslim countries in treating women equally because it is below the global average in the percentage of women in elected office.
Kaine said in a speech at a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina Tuesday:
It took 144 years before women even got the right to vote in this country. What were we thinking when we said equality mattered, but no. One hundred and forty-four years. It took us that long to say in 1920, to say women get a right to vote. And now were 96 years later and we have just nominated a woman. We know we havent had a woman president.
Kaine complained that, today, only 19 percent of members of Congress are women.
Thats the best job weve ever done, he ridiculed the U.S., continuing that countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Rwanda have higher percentages of women in elected office.

Same here.
Well yeah that’s super stupid and all, but nothing could make Biden not be a moron.
Oh, Lunchbucket Joe IS the King Moron, but Kaine beats him on this quote, hands down.
Caine comes off at not too “ manly “ to me
Kaine.
The IQ of a cucumber?
Just like obamas pick of Joe B , Hillys pick of Caine. Presents little competition for her and just as useful an idiot
He sure doesn’t.
“but Kaine beats him on this quote, hands down.”
On that we concur.
Further, I cannot even imagine the level of stupidity of the Democrats who hear this shlt, cheer and applaud.
Myself - I like driving cars and walking around without a rag over my head, and not being killed for marrying a man of my own choice. I do not want no muslim gender equality, lol.
Ya think? /s
I believe he was Hillary's campaign manager in 2008.
