RE: “I guess I should say goodbye Freerepublic right now. Goodbye to Shoebat’s website or anything critical of Islam. Goodbye any conservative website.”

BINGO, unfortunately.
Proposed UN and TPP censorship laws and regulations will use the new International Internet governing Gate-keeper to censor via technical control, ie: disable websites via DNS - ip address resolution, for instance.
Anyone stepping out of line risks having their website disabled, just as we’ve seen with Facebook and Twitter disabling or banning conservative accounts and content.

Also, it’s likely we’ll see increased annual website domain name fees levied in order to fund lavish lifestyles of our Internet gatekeeper masters.

Brave New World ahead...

“The US government has been quietly wrapping up a Christmas gift of its own: adoption of  UN resolution 16/18.

An initiative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (formerly Organization of Islamic Conferences), the confederacy of 56 Islamic states, Resolution 16/18 seeks to limit speech that is viewed as “discriminatory” or which involves the “defamation of religion” – specifically that which can be viewed as “incitement to imminent violence.”
