The drive to put a man on the moon drove technical discovery and or focusing of new or even existing technology.

It has always been my thought, that if we had continued our space efforts, more of the same would have taken place.

Is is crushing to realize that is has been since December of 1972, that we had a man on the Moon.

We spent only a little over ten years going from Alan Shepards first entry into space in May of 1961, to landing on the Moon in July of 1969.

And then...

We came up with the Shuttle, flew it to death, and essentially returned to the Alan Shepard days.

Yes we have a lot of gathered knowledge and know how, but we can’t put a man in space today. Imagine that, some 43 plus years later...

Man this sucks.

All those billions of dollars, and NASA is now an Islamic out-reach program, and doing flight body research that private industry should be doing.

Talk about your riches to rags endeavors.

Based on the best available evidence, Earth is some 4,600,000,000 (that’s billion) years old.
NASA is about 40 years old or .000000009% of the time,
Yet they know best. Hm................
