Trump has said publicly that he fears the next election will be rigged. Based both on technical capability and recent history, Trump’s concerns are not unfounded.

A recent study by Stanford University proved that Hillary Clinton’s campaign rigged the system to steal the nomination from Bernie Sanders.

What was done to Bernie Sanders in Wisconsin is stunning. Why would the Clintons not cheat again?

The issue here is both voter fraud, which is limited but does happen, and election theft through the manipulation of the computerized voting machines, particularly the DIEBOLD/PES voting machines in wide usage in most states.

POLITICO profiled a Princeton professor — who has demonstrated how the electronic voting machines that are most widely used can be hacked in five minutes or less! Robert Fitrakis Professor of Political Science in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department at Columbus State Community College has written a must-read book on the strip and flip technique sued to rig these machines. Professor Fitrakis is a Green Party activist.

A computer hacker showed CBS how to vote multiple times using a simple $15.00 electronic device.

To be very clear both parties have engaged in this skullduggery and it is the party in power in each state that has custody of the machines and control of their programing. This year, the results of machines in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Ohio, where Governor John Kasich controls the machines, must be matched with exit polls, for example.

I’m not worried about all the low or hi-tech methods or devices yep that can add a bite here or there. I’m concerned about the company, it’s employees who set up the machines, and how the votes are really tallied. The integrity of the electronic voting machines and the company who manufactures them and the counting mechanisms have not really been challenged enough yet IMO. We’ve been taking them at their word and that word has been “betrayal”. We need to demand to know more about how the whole mechanism works and exactly how the votes are tallied and which central repository they are all “deposited” into. Is there an audit trail and integrity system that can be checked by anyone other than the bean counters and the politicians themselves? If no, we need to know why.

If the election is rigged, doesn’t that mean that the election is illegal and the government illegitimate? Considering all the things the government presumes to do for us, but more importantly all that it presumes to do to us, that should make a difference to a lot of people. I real hope the republicans states are as honest/dishonest as the dem states, since the article implies that the party in power controls how voting is done.

There is NO reason *NOT* to have any validation in our election process. There is no ‘need’ to have instant\up-to-the-minute results in the process.

- Chain of command of all materials.
(No ‘lost ballots’, no ‘sneaking in ballots’, no ‘Oops, look at what I *found*’ boxes of ballots)
- Separate validation of electronic vs. paper receipt.
- NO reason the code isn’t open-source (if elec. utilized). It is paid by taxpayer, should be available to taxpayer
- Felon charges (HUGE fine and LONG prison term) for any\all illegal voting, suppression, fraud, etc.
- Purge of all voter rolls 1st of the month AFTER election.
