I’ve been against articles slapping a diagnosis on Hillary (like the post I read yesterday that said she had Parkinson’s.) Neuro diseases have a bunch of mimickers and diagnosing can’t be done from an armchair while watching videos of the person.

That being said, she is using a technique that those with balance issues use. If you can touch something (or if you’re using a cane) it enhances your proprioception and aids in keeping you stable. Same with the rail out front. She holds on it when she’s facing one way, she turns and immediately grabs the rail again.

I use a cane for balance issues (MS), however, at home I don’t need it, I do exactly what she was doing in the video, I touch furniture as I go from room to room. It gives me the same sense of balance that I get with a cane.

The Parkinson’s diagnosis came about because of the mention of a certain drug in one of her leaked emails. A medical person on here pointed out it was also used for MS
Nikk has a chart comparing the two diseases
MS seems more consistent with what we’ve seen

I do the same thing due to peripheral neuropathy. It is idiopathic and not from diabetes. I don’t feel a connection with the floor and also it causes balance issues. I don’t think anyone has said she might have neuropathy. It has many causes and could also be a problem for her.
