This site popped up a warning that my Mozilla browser needed a critical update, that I should click the popup.

Rather than do that, I went to the Mozilla website and checked for updates. There are not updates for my current browser configuration. The popup at Clarian is malware. Avoid it.

Sir: I had no such problem no matter how many time I clicked on this site.

Maybe a anti-virus scan is due on your PC.

Regards.

No such popup for me. Are you running any add-ons with Firefox?

Been getting that pop-up for a week or more.

I do not click such notices

update announcements come thru their own sites in our PC - not on open web or email...

Using the company’s logo is an old trick.

NEVER fall for it...

If you are running Mozilla, I would highly recommend installing the ‘Ad-Block Plus’ plugin:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

You’ll be amazed at how much crap you no longer have to put up with...
