Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign and her super PACs have raised almost $400 million, but her latest fundraising appeal is an urgent warning that she's going broke.
Without a daily fix of $1 million, the campaign said that it will have to start shutting down field offices across the country.
"This team has to raise $1 million online. One million dollars. That's our goal to make sure we stay on pace with Donald Trump and to keep the lights on and doors open in field offices across the country," the campaign said.
The daily $1 million goal is equal to what Trump is seeking this week in his $7 million in seven days fundraising drive.

Hillary can't match him in social media, because in social media, it is your audience that spreads your message. So that forces her to spend a lot of money on broadcast advertising.
So going forward, the candidate who spends the most on traditional advertising will be the one who is behind, not the leader.
Clinton hasn’t spent a penny of her own money, she only spends the money of the Hedge Funders who have donated about $49 MILLION, money from other fatcats, and the money from people who really can’t afford to send her any, but they send it anyone because they are “true believers.”
Needs to raise $1 million just to say up with Trump.
Ironic that just a few weeks ago the media & cohorts were pointing out that Trump was NOT raising much money and they were oh so concerned that the Clinton funding would be so massive it would embarrass Trump.
What a difference one news cycle makes.
Then, a week or so ago many were concerning that Trump and small donations from his supporters matched and almost exceeded Clinton’s fundraising from wealthy donors.
I wonder how much she will keep? You think obama spends money, just wait if she gets the whitehouse. That mansion that Erdogan has will be small compared to what hillary will buy with taxpayer money.

And yet we have all the hand wringers around here getting all worked up that Trump is spending a wad of money on traditional network TV ads. He will, but as you point out, much of Trump’s reach will through social media. I think Trump is using the same formula that got Obama elected twice. You reach more people sitting in front of a computer screen than you would people watching TV. Most people don’t anymore.

I agree with everything you said, but still don’t understand why she is spending so much money on TV ads here in California. If the polls out here are correct, she has the state in the bag. Any idea why she’s spending so much money on the left coast?
