Nothing to do with anything aside from your comments but, I like my police-state hamstrung and limited.

Constitutional Rights only have substance when the courts protect them-that’s why we’re screwed. The courts feel entitled to create rights when they want to, and ignore them when they don’t. That’s why strangers have a superior claim on your paycheck. They are entitled to it-you’re not.

...” I live in Texas and they’ll just bring a dog and of course get a positive hit to search.”

How ironic.

On his radio show years ago, before he went full bore crazy, Glenn Beck used to say, “Come to Texas for the freedom.”

I’m sorry you had to go through that. It must have been traumatic. What a huge blessing, however, to have friends who stepped up and gave you a place to stay; that’s an enormous silver lining. Sending good wishes your way...

How did they get inside to inspect?

That sounds good until you’re in a ‘Rat dominated enclave and the excuses turn to “wearing camo”, “Tea Party, 2A, Don’t Tread on Me, etc... Bumper stickers”, “gun rack” and so on...

A dirtbag is as a dirtbag does.

Cuts both ways.

I retained an attorney the next day, and the first thing
she asked me was “when they asked if they could come in
and look around, did you tell them yes?” and I said “yes,I
didn’t know any better” So she helped me find friends to
take me in.

“Cuts both ways.”

What, a decent person is as a decent person does?

That seems to be true, but I’m not sure what you’re trying to say.

Thankyou. A lot of friends have been helping too and
my son came from California and helped a few days.
But I should have been given opportunity to explain
to a judge and time to repair. Probably will take
me more than five years to recover from what those
busybodies did.

That is precisely the reasoning that has been used for decades to prevent any effective measures against crime and leftism.

There is validity to it, in that when people who should never be in charge of anything are in charge of everything, they will misuse all authority.

However, the exercise of authority is required to put thing right. It’s like one of the bogus arms-control agreements. The forces of evil will use it to prevent any measures against themselves, while ignoring it when they want to smite their enemies.

These are not normal times. Our country is pumping arterial blood from a shredded carotid. We must put authority into the hands of good men, and keep a gimlet eye on them.

When the patient is once again stable, when the forces of evil lie rotting on the battlefield, we will once again be able to afford the luxury of unreasonable restraint. Till then we are at war, and wartime rules apply.

Fine, but at present it is hamstrung and limited only with regard to exercising its proper functions.

As was said to the nuclear-disarmament whackadoodles back in the 50s and 60s, the Constitution is not a suicide pact. It allows us to preserve our lives and our country.

I meant there’s no shortage of dirtbag cops either.

I don’t quite know what to say about that. It seems to be typical leftist thinking, condemn your home for being uninhabitable and ignore the fact that without leaning on your friends your only other choice is to sleep under a bridge.

“I meant there’s no shortage of dirtbag cops either.”

Sure, there is.

You need to kick that leftist narrative to the curb and get to know some.

Sorry Officer. I shouldn't have called into question the integrity of some of the personnel on the police force. Don't wanna cause any trouble with the police.

So anyway....how you doing?
Are you... Matthew, Mark, Luke or John?

“Sorry Officer.”

Very funny.

“I shouldn’t have called into question the integrity of some of the personnel on the police force.”

You shouldn’t call into question the integrity of so many of the personnel on the police force.

Of course the occasional bad egg slips through, but it’s not like “The Shield.” Even the actual incident that inspired “The Shield” wasn’t as bad as the TV show.

Very funny.

Yeah well, I'm being nice, even though you accused me of carrying water for the left.

You shouldn’t call into question the integrity of so many of the personnel on the police force.

To ignore the facts doesn't change the facts.

My BIL is a cop in St. Louis but I'm not going to sit here and tell you about the cops I know or have known over the years. I'll just leave it at that and maybe we can be FRiends.
