Obviously the context of polling and bias are key components within discussions of presidential elections and politics. At this point theres virtually no-one who would dispute the inherent media bias against candidate Donald Trump.
Despite a majority of opinion polls showing the 2016 presidential election going to Democrat Hillary Clinton, a smartphone app developer says his data suggests challenger Donald Trump will be the victor.

If you listen to the interview the author of the app says Trump will win. Interestingly, the reason he states is that the app is 100% anonymous and there are also other scientific aspects to the app. It is really worth listening to. This is the new polling. This app predicted Trump winning the primaries and the British winning Brexit. This is a classic example of a new technology completely changing a society similar to the industrial revolution.
I would love to believe this but there are way too many polls showing the opposite.
I dowloaded this applet and played around with some questions. The questions are definitely skewed Trump or the users of the App are conservative. For example, question asked, “Who will be better for the middle class”. Trump 92% Clinton 8%. In a standard poll, that is a strong Democratic question. I understand the confirmation biases inherent in some forms of social media but take this app with a grain of salt.
You need to listen to the interview. It is really interesting and I am surprised that you are so gullible to believe the polls like that. There are so many examples when they have been wrong. This election season they are completely unreliable.
When Harry Truman was running for president in September he was down 9-20 points in the polls. And those were classic polls with the same methodology as today.
the problem here is that you do not know how to win. Just when you think you have it figured out, you are wrong!
If we were in the horse and buggy days, you would say that you would love to believe in cars but you just don’t see it because too many people are driving horse and buggies.
Those polls are rigged. They are designed to create a narrative and to provide cover for electronic election fraud in November. This is nothing new.
Anyone who cannot or will not understand this as fact is either stuck in the past, hopelessly naive, stuck on stupid, living in a fantasy world, deathly afraid of change, or works at CNN or its immoral equivalent.
What did i leave out?
The fact is they predicted Trump would win the primaries and that England would separate from the EU. The interview is very very good.
“Gullible.” Dang, i left out gullible.
I like that much better than “naive.”
But Truman decided to take the election directly to the people and he traveled the country giving unscripted rallies, just like Trump is doing today. Only Truman rode the rails on a pretty much non-stop "whistle stop" tour. The know-it-all media were just confounded that everywhere Truman went, thousands of people showed up to hear him. Towards the end, they started getting worried but it was too late. Truman won that election pretty handily.

A lot of people simply do not know how to win. In order to win there is a always a lot of risk involved. People want certainty. They say,” I’ll believe it when I see it,” meaning they want guarantees before they risk. Does not work that way. That is why there are just a few billionaires and billions of ordinary people. Takes a lot of risk and intuition to be a billionaire. There is no risk watching TV and armchair quarterbacking.
Gullible is nicer than plain stupid.

Well said. That is the Trump model. He is making the media irrelevant.
I humbly predict that this election will wind up in the hands of the SCOTUS. Since it is split 4 X 4, guess who will cave in to the open borders cheap labor preserve the so-called status quo group of pseudo Marxists?

Totally doubt it. Won’t happen. You are just afraid of winning.
How could so many polls have shown Hillary beating Sanders in MI by 20 points? ALL of them were wrong. Bernie won despite the one-sided polls. Obviously something seriously wrong with polling. Polls got Brexit wrong, they got the UK election in 2015 wrong, they got the election in Israel dead wrong.
What eventuality would not be covered by the Constitution and federal law?
I sure hope that this app developer doesn’t walk around DC just after 4:00 am...

that I will agree with; however, there are too many sproutlings popping up everywhere contradicting media polls. The media is losing the battle very badly.
But does the model take into consideration ballot box stuffing by pro-Hillary Democrats and GOPe?
“The media is losing the battle very badly.”
I do hope that you are right! The Dem’s/Media’s goal is to cast doubt and demoralize True Americans.

Polls also got the 2014 midterms dead wrong
