USC Daybreak Poll - Change in methodology?

Posted on 08/14/2016 5:23:27 AM PDT by mrs9x

What is up with the USC Daybreak poll? There has been a huge swing toward Hillary over the last two days. It is a 7 day rolling average, so I cannot fathom how there is this huge swing over two days without some change in methodology.

No Trump ads, constant media assassination. Only way his message gets out is at rallies. So he is using 19th-century campaigning in a tv/social media world.

Not much discussion about Hillary these days, bad or good.

a very unusual, and seemingly disastrous, way of runnning a POTUS campaign-—say nothing at all, and gain ground...

but nothing is usual about this election cycle...

Could be that soros has bought & paid for the usc poll?

that was the last hold out.

Now he could own um all?

add that to the fact that he already owns the company that counts the votes..........

Oh no, at this point Muskie was leading Reagan by 15 points ony to lose 49 states what are we to do?

Edmund (Eeyore) Muskie never ran for President as a nominee...in 1972 he challenged for the nomination, but started bawling (he claimed it was melting snow) at a campaign event and the rest was history...

that is one of the most astute observations I’ve seen yet regarding this race...

The polls can’t all be fraudulent. The turncoats are a big problem. Rather than supporting him they are undermining him. They turned a positive for the campaign into a negative. With the press acting as an agent of the Clinton campaign, Trump needs a lot of help from the party, bit he gets backstabbers instead.

Thanks a lot. I was aware of this but you do put it in that good perspective.

No methodology changed. The media assault from 2A and Obama ISIS is finally catching up.

The media has never been this over the top. No matter where you go — Yahoo, Facebook, Google, Apple, National Newspapers, Local Newspapers, National TV News, Local TV News, Infotainment TV, etc - it’s 100% anti Trump.

Tough to overcome. If Trump loses with his ability to filter out the media, it will prove that Republicans will never win. The media is too powerful.

Two thing .

First August polling is always a big lie and done by the media to set up a DNC talking points narrative they follow . Thank you Wilileaks for confirming all the DNC media conspiracies are true.

Read this analysis by month of the 2014 Media Dem push poll compared to the final results . Way way off .

http://thefederalist.com/2014/11/19/polling-postmortem-the-best-and-worst-senate-polls-of-2014/
Look at how truly awful the 2014 PPP CNN CBS Fox polls were .

Second this poll is paid for and controlled by the LA Slimes , a radical far Left rag .

Third. , August is the last of summer vacation and school beginning so who is left to poll but a pack of left wing zealots .

Finally, Gallup quit political polling because their results were too screwy and they did not trust them.

In the age of cell phone only homes and no land lines anymore .

This polling data is now heavily edited and useless .

You will never know if the LA Slimes news room adjusted the poll data to there liking .

I suspect they did adjust since their results were used by Matt Drudge to trash there Queen Hillary and they got a call or where horrified they were being used to hurt there fellow leftists .

There were 74 more people included since yesterday, and 109 since 2 days ago when the Hillary jump started. There were 180 more new respondents added since 7 days ago, when the poll recycles. If you look at what they say as to methodology, it is obvious that they have ways to add special sauce to the poll. As a Californian I can tell you to be waey of anything that has Jess Unruh's name attached. He is the guy that Reagan be when running for re-election as governor. Just make the new add ins mostlt Hillary people.

Or maybe they are not.... I travel extensively and live in deep blue CA. Even where I live in CA I see no Hillary bumper stickers or yard signs. And I mean none. In my travels I’ve seen far more Trump bumper stickers and yard signs compared to Hillary. In 2004 Kerry stickers and yard signs were very evident by this time and in 2008 and 2012 there were way too many 0bama supporters seen everywhere. I just can not draw evidence for Hillary’s support. And the MSU bias is worse than 2004. The globalists are in force to defeat Trump by any means and they are using lies, distortions like I’ve never seen before.

at this point, it really doesn’t seem possible that any voter easily swayed to change his\her mind.
is anybody except independents in serious doubt who they are voting for, right about now ?
If anything, these polls shouldn’t swing that much until maybe after the debates.

From what I see. Trump is dominating the social media world.
Youtube people are very supportive of Trump.

Polsters are hired to get results for the political machine to use as a weapon. Their methodology has had to change as often as Clinton campaign rollouts.

None so blind as those who will not see.

A rolling poll will not change its methodology as it would invalidate the poll for at least a few days. It would be difficult to do and pointless as well.

Results are changing because of unforced errors by Trump.
