I don’t know about the rest of you out there. I am a self confessed conservative, but I give primarily to Republican groups. I have donated to the :young” Republicans. I shall never do so again. For heaven’s sake, this is the nominee of the Republican Party and the voting is not a beauty contest. It is a contest of either we win or they win - there is no in between. Go to Hellory for the next help you want.

Penn State, expensive school. These kiddies are all lined up to get a corporate job at daddy's firm, move into their own gated mansions and spend their lives reviewing their portfolios.

Are you sure you are thinking of Penn State, the state university in the boondocks? You must mean University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Ivy League, founded by Ben Franklin (Trump's alma mater; schools of law, medicine, veterinary, dentistry, nursing, engineering, architecture, city planning, business, finance, sociology, education, etc etc).

If my child was this stupid, I’d save my money and stop paying tuition to Penn St. Obviously, this institution is not educating him.

Overeducated idiots can’t see that Trump is the last gasp of a free Republic.
After Hillary legalizes 30 million fraudulently documented foreigners, their citizenship will mean squat.

As far as college Republican groups go, this one looks pretty big. My son’s group has about six active members.,

“I question if this election was ever “easily winnable””

Of course nothing is ever easy, but the Democrats have put up their weakest candidate since 1988 at least. People do not want to vote for Hillary Clinton.

So for the last month she’s hit Trump with $ 150 million of negative ads to Trump’s zero while his poll numbers have drifted down. IF the ads didn’t work, people wouldn’t spend money on them, from selling soap to telling what an awful monster Donald Trump is.

His campaign is based on getting new and lapsed voters to the polls. So does he have a huge voter registration campaign going? Nope.

He had extra weeks before Hillary clinched her nomination. That was his time to unify the party. Blame whoever you want, but I think it’s pretty clear he’s done a pretty lousy job of unifying the party.

Could anyone else have done better?

Just my own opinions of course but all through the primaries all the polls said Trump was the weakest candidate against Hillary. It’s not like we weren’t warned.

What if?

Kasich or Rubio would be up double digits and the race would be about over.

Cruz would have trouble since he’s just not a likable character. He’d be about even but would be running an extremely well organized competent campaign.

Bush would be getting killed as bad as Trump. If it’s a fight of names, Clinton will beat Bush.

It is very strange that a group of supposedly politically astute students would not support Donald Trump for president. Maybe they get their information from CNN.

Trump is for economic prosperity via reduced taxes, replacing Obamacare, etc.

Trump will strengthen our military, secure our borders, remove regulatory barriers and eliminate dependence on countries that do not like us.

Trump will reintroduce common sense in place of Political correctness.

When I went to Penn State, it was heavily leftist and still is with very foolish Penn Staters calling themselves Republicans! They are an embarrassment.

Not a chance. The Clinton/Democrat/media opposition machine would have shredded either of them in the first two weeks.
