We must be about the same age. I did a paper in high school about global cooling and the Maunder cycle. In grade school I was taught that CO2 was a necessity for all forms of life and Carbon is a basic/needed element for life on earth. Amazing what Ursuline nuns taught in a 4 room Church basement in Kentucky, but I digress since we were farm kids.

The climate, through empirical evidence, had continually changed throughout the epochs of time. If one wants to find the driver of climate change (ice ages to warming periods) one should pay attention to what has shown its own changes which correlate to those of the earth’s climate, the sun.

Replying to Post #26:

Yeah, had Ursuline nuns in a little gradeschool in Montana. Learned nearly all the math necessary for computer programming decades before personal computers.

Anthropogenic caused climate change is highly doubtful, and we could easily double or triple the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere which would invoke a greener planet. Not sure why the global-warming cranks are so dead-set against a greener, more prosperous, healthier future, but there it is.
