Patti Davis, an actress, author and daughter of former President Ronald Reagan, penned a message to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on Wednesday night, calling his recent comments about the Second Amendment “horrifying.”
On Tuesday, Trump vaguely implied that his supporters could shoot Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton or her picks for the Supreme Court.

I can post an article a minute with the name of some RINO or lib who says nasty things about Trump and that’s all we would have. It adds nothing to know that Patty Davis is an idiot lib (she was against her own father for God’s sake, what do you think she would say about Trump?) and it plays into the left’s goal of dispiriting its opposition. You wouldn’t want to play into the left’s plans, would you? Would you?

See, Defiant, your post is very informative! You think that everybody here knows that about Patty? (Unless this place is only populated with “old farts” (no offense) from the Reagan era, which I doubt...) We see articles and we debunk them for everybody else, especially for people who are not aware of what you just wrote.
I loved Reagan and I love Trump. Reagan actually seemed clearer on certain limited-government issues than Trump but Trump seems more naturally opposed to political correctness.
Another difference is between their families Trump’s family is really amazing, Reagan’s not so much even though adopted Michael seemed like a good guy. Maybe understandable since Reagan’s dad was an alcoholic while Trump’s dad seemed to be a good guy.
Also, as active dads while their kids were growing up, Reagan was a born again Christian and Trump was not. Sometimes being a Christian is not enough to at least immediately reverse the many years of growing up in a dysfunctional family. The Bible is full of the stories of men of faith and within the ancestral lineage of Jesus Christ where families were very dysfunctional. God is bigger than dysfunctional families and “where sin abounds, grace does much more abound” (Rom 5:20). Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity.
