Hell, how many were even killed by black cops? Remember, half of the Baltimore Six who were unjustifiable persecuted, just for being cops who were doing their jobs, were black. BLM is a terrorist organization designed to destroy all law enforcement to help black criminals continue to terrorize everyone, definitely including law abiding black people.

“...without warning two men ran toward the house and opened fire on him.
One shot struck Lucas. As the men advanced up the sidewalk, they pushed Lucas’s grandnephew out of the way and shot Lucas three more times, family members said. The attackers fled in a red SUV, and Lucas died on the stoop from gunshot wounds to the neck and head.
...

Lucas, a father of three and grandfather of seven, was shot at about 1:20 p.m., according to police, who said he didn’t appear to be the intended target”

Umm... Yes, he was.

Back in 1972, my dad (54 at the time) was shot (hit 3x) coming home from working in the city (Chicago). He commuted using the L-train and parked his car nearby. It was not the best neighborhood. He was lucky to run away from them and get back to the train station. Got on the next train heading west and wound up at Lorreto hospital where he was saved from bleeding to death.
We moved to western suburbs within one year which probably saved my life as I was also “hanging around” with the wrong people. Get out of Chiraq if you can.

The leftists are letting blacks kill each other, as these killings are used as a lever against the second amendment and law-abiding gun owners.

The fact of feral blacks killing each other with guns cannot be allowed to be used by the politicians diminish or degrade our lawful ownership.

Carrying all the time won’t protect you or anyone else from stray shots.

That is a good point that needs to be repeated. We can’t keep saying that those people getting killed in Chicago were because of strict gun laws or that they were decent people, or that they would have been alive if they only had access to guns to shoot back.

The people who are shooting and dying are willing participants in a internecine tribal war.

You’re wrong.

If I’m out with 10 friends and 5 are packing, when some dumb a$$ takes that first and “accidently” hits hit me, 4 of my friends will shoot back and keep me from catching a 2nd.

Long term, when “shooting back” becomes the norm and the dumb-a$$’s don’t take so many first shots, then everyone one is safer.

You’re thinking single person, single incident. This is a war that is going to last a long time and involved a LOT of people and a lot of battles.

I am talking about the kid sitting on the stoop or the woman washing her face in the bathroom when a bullet comes from the street. That is “stray” bullets. Stray is not a meaningless word. You have your indignation and stock declamation but it really should have some relationship with the triggering statement.

“Michael Lucas, 61, was sitting on his front stoop in Chicago’s Burnside neighborhood, watching his 3-year-old grandnephew play in the afternoon sun, when without warning two men ran toward the house and opened fire on him.

Sure as Hell sounds like he was the “intended target” to me. Wonder what was in his past/present that made it so imperative to kill him?

If you let your 10 year-old go out on the sidewalks of Southside Chicago and “play,” you are a complete failure as a human being. A stray dog probably has better parenting skills.
