IMHO her age is not the issue, Miss Obama is not a public figure, nor has she yet (to my knowledge) taken any steps to make herself one.
People take an interest in her solely because her father is the President. She and her sister should be left alone until and unless each actively enters public life.
I still hold out hope that one day one of them will turn out to be a Conservative.
