Everything Hillary has ever touched has failed, been engulfed in scandal, resulted in massive investigations, litigation, financial ruin, prison or death. The final stage of any Hillary enterprise is a grand announcement that Hillary did not technically break the law. Or no one can prove she did. Or, even if she did, no one ever gets prosecuted for it.
That just about covers it . . .

Comey claimed there was no mens rea in Hillary’s private server, which just happened to greatly delay the FOI acquisition of email from her to her minions which make clear that she was using the State Department to incentivize people to “donate” to the Clinton Foundation and/or pay Bill huge “honoraria” for speeches.

Why did Hillary cross the road? To get to the other side. BTW, Obama knew all about Hillary’s evasion of the FOIA via the private server; he corresponded with her by that means himself. And Hillary is not the only one who did it. Amazing how hard it can be to fulfill FOIA obligations . . . if you are determined not to do it.

Comey rewrote the law.
Intent didn’t matter in the law Hillary! broke. The law specified Gross Negligence as a reason for prosecution. If she was not doing for criminal reasons (Ha!), then it was certainly gross negligence and he was obligated to recommend prosecution.
Problem is, he would had to investigate everyone in government who sent her a confidential or higher security email - if they knew about her email server then they would have to be prosecuted, too.
No way they are prosecute half the State Department and the top ranks of the Obama regime for that.
