near the intersection of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd....nothing but nothing good happens near ANY MLK Blvd...
I live a mile away from MLK Blvd in Raleigh NC and would be as safe walking there as I would on any other street in town. They did have to put in extra long street signs, though. We jokingly refer to it as “The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Boulevard Junior”. Not all of that is really on the signs. ;-) Most is, though.
