Absolutely. Should have been blue handled guns or rubber duckies. In the military they don’t even issue a crate of live rounds if they issue blanks. They have to be totally separate deliveries. To have this happen is 100% inexcusable.

If youve done your safety-check and are absolutely sure that your gun is unloaded, that does not give you the go-ahead to be careless with it. Remembering the first rule, The Gun Is ALWAYS Loaded, you should never point it toward anything that you are not prepared to destroy.
When you have a careless system, those "snap decisions" are generally careless.
