Penniless layabout ne’er do well communist goes to Congress and socks away enough of the people’s money to buy three houses...and buys the third house right after he shakes hands with Clinton and leaves the Democrat party. Right. Nothing to see here.

I don't begrudge Bernie having a lakefront home (in addition to his two other homes.) I think the story here is his hypocrisy. He portrayed himself as a man of modest means, someone who opposes the capitalist system, but then is more than willing to avail himself of the fruits of that same system he claims to despise.
