Unless they swim to Chula Vista they are going to have a hard time getting to the US. No airline is accepting Bolivars as payment anymore. American has something like US $300MM tied up in unrepatriable funds from VZ.

The oil price is partially true but in fact VZ produces a high sulphur content oil that is difficult to refine and nobody wants.

Honestly just about anything would be more sane that what we have going on now.
Just look at how bad it is, we have an open criminal winning half the votes--someone who literally stole her candidacy and used her high status position to line her bank account.
A lottery system would be preferable to this.

Another thought, I have seen man on the strret interviews in Venezuala where they interview people in line for toilet paper.
They ARE STILL frothing and chomping at the bit to go after "the rich".
So, the theory that it'll get so bad, they'll come to their senses does not prevail. Ever.
