The main-stream media started what (to me anyway) was a pre-planned propaganda blitz the day after the Democrat convention. Every alphabet media outlet used the exact same words (dark) to describe Trump’s “vision.” They then pushed the narrative with the Khan sock-puppets.
I expect that is what is driving this. Low info voters have been bombarded with coordinated anti-trump propaganda

Sure is funny how, every time Trump has a lead, a new poll comes out that puts Hillary way out in front.
I recall in 2012 how I thought all those polls showing Bath House in the lead over Mittens were phony.
They turned out to be correct.
Is this time different? I don’t know.
I cannot discount the veracity of these polls. One cannot underestimate the absolute stupidity and debasement of the average voter.

I just saw an anti-Trump commercial during the NBC Olympics coverage. It featured footage from a Trump appearance on David Letterman. Letterman asked him where his shirts and ties were made. Trump says he didn’t know. Then ole Dave (AKA Alfred E. Neuman) pulls out examples and says “Bangladesh” and “China.”
First, I really hate Letterman. That he so often set up guests with vicious assaults like this was really bogus. Just can’t stand the guy at all.
Second, the fact that Trump just kind of meekly shrugged his shoulders looks awful.
Third, I hope someone responds by saying “Maybe with less government regulation we can afford to manufacture in the US again.”I
Do they still do telephone polling? I wonder many people they have to call to get a response? Are they just calling the same people they actually get on the line? I was polled a couple of times in 2012 but not in 2016. Could be the result of not answering my landline for at least six months.
One thing I know is that pre-Labor Day polls are NEVER accurate. The are completely unreliable in regards to picking the eventual winner and especially the margin of victory. Go back 40-50 years, you will see the same trend.
Things are different after Labor Day when people start to pay attention.
