I’m for capitalism.
However, Goldman Sachs are the firm that generated much of the toxic assets that have still not been dealt with after the “Toxic Asset Relief Program” boondoogle which Goldman also pocketed large quantities of.
Those derivatives still have the potential to wreck the entire weastern economic system.

And Goldman was fined 5 billion for that and other activities. Hell many banks were. When I worked for Arthur Andersen a company over 100 years old with 110k+ employees globally a total of 100 working the Enron project took the entire ship down. I was a lowly help desk agent in IT (of course much further in my career today). The point is the folks that led to that condition are long gone and dealt with. Today ther are thousands upon thousands of regulations in place that a bank couldn’t fart without the Feds knowing about it.

It’s time to put the evil bank thing to rest as its sailed its course. The issue is our very own government not a bank.
