NEW YORK Taken aback by the size of Donald Trumps July fundraising haul, Hillary Clintons campaign is quickly working to beef up its efforts to raise campaign cash before the fall sending the candidate, running mate Tim Kaine, and former President Bill Clinton on an all-out financial sprint through August while explicitly warning top fundraisers this week that they need to pick up the pace.
In an internal memo, first obtained by POLITICO, that will be circulated to high-level donors on Monday morning, campaign manager Robby Mook specifically writes that the Republican nominees July haul overshot the campaigns expectations, necessitating a new wave of action.
Donald Trump also had his best fundraising month of the campaign, raising $80 million, explains Mook in the roughly 750-word missive titled Wake Up Call after trumpeting Clintons own $90 million haul between the campaign and other Democratic committees. This was far more than anyone expected and should be a wake-up call to all Hillary supporters. We must redouble our efforts in the coming weeks."

I thought they had a 150 point lead in the polls.
Maybe this is all about loading up the coffers and they really don’t expect her to win.
She is in bad shape. I hope the internet tracks down the identity and job of Big Black Guy that coddles her and directs her.
Not because Her Thighness needs the money. Because how will it look? She can’t beat Trump at drawing a crowd, she can’t beat Trump at small donors, she can’t beat Trump at polls without D+10 or better but she squeaks out a narrow victory in November by last minute ballots from 110% precincts in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio? Fraud is how it will look.
Undoubtedly, they are working on a way to divert campaign contributions to the Clinton Family Crime Foundation.
Jes’ tryin’ to be helpful.
Their 150 point lead is only in Philly, Chicago and Detroit.
Trump took in a lot of small donations from average folks, Hillary’s is from labor unions and fat cats that expect favors in return. You don’t hear much about this in the MSM. If it had been the reverse, you’d hear about Trump selling himself. Of course with HRC, maybe it’s not news at all, everyone knows she’s a money ‘escort’.
The GOPe is also concerned. Enough to bring in Evan McMullin in an attempt to save their candidate (Hillary) and take some of the funds that Trump would have received (as well as votes in November).
“Get me George Soros.”
Did he mean— get me a hitman for George Soros? LOL !
Maybe because of this:
Of the nearly $90 million raised, Clinton’s campaign said around $63 million went to the campaign directly, while $26 million was raised for the Democratic National Committee and various state parties.

Actually of the $80 million Trump raised $64 million directly, and $16 million of donations with the Republican National Committee.
Trump is raising a lot of money directly online. Hillary is using lots of bundlers who get a percentage of the take. The net metrics are different because of this. Hillary has a lot of paid people on the payroll too so her overhead is much larger.
The bundling thing has always interested me, its one reason people like Neil Bush are so rich and why the Bush klan is pissed that Trump is the candidate, they can’t make bank.
Trump has screwed up the money bundling business this cycle and it. I love it.
Well I haven’t donated to any political campaign, in several decades.
I however, tracked down a Donald Trump campaign office last week, and spent a good amount of my money, on various campaign items.
Go Trump.
I thought she was already measuring The Oval Office for prayer rugs. The shaggy kind. You know. So she and Huma don’t get burns on their knees when they’re....ummmm, errrr.....praying.
Although Hillary is raising a lot of money, she is also spending even more money with her bloated campaign infrastructure. It’s finally dawned on the Clinton camp that with Trump raising nearly as much money as them, but not spending it on a huge campaign infrastructure, that he could actually have much more money on hand going into the last six weeks of the campaign.
