The group that has flown the F 35 is a small and identifiable group. Did you expect them to say it was not a good aircraft?

I notice a Turkish flag in the photograph of the assembly line. Is it smart to sell this to Turkey at this time? No.

put them in the F-22 and ask them to choose.

F-35 ... if your opponent is long range and no dog fighting is required

Wow.. that thing is TINY.

And I like the HUD (HMD) concepts. Turning the jet invisible for a bit. The tech that went into that is seriously next gen.

If these test pilots state that the F35A is an excellant fighter plane I’ll take their word for it over some talking head who never flew a plane.

Afterall these are the guys who would be putting their butts on the line if the plane turns out to be a turkey.

It was pilots like these that helped with the design of the 3 most deadly fighters in the last 30 years. The F15 Eagle,F16 Falcon and the F18 hornet.

Analysts in the past also stated that those planes were nothing but gold plated birds that would not survive in combat.

With the $6,000,000,000 Taxpayer Dollars that Hillary “misplaced” when she ran the State Department, we could pay for 60 F-35’s at a Per Unit Cost of $100,000,000.

Just sayin’.

I have a question.

We refused to sell any F-22’s to our Allies, yet we are selling them F-35’s which are being touted as Superior to the F-22.

What am I missing?

There was a time when all the military reformist including guys like Chuck Spinney. He was an American former military analyst for the Pentagon who became famous in the early 1980s for what became known as the “Spinney Report”, criticizing what he described as the reckless pursuit of costly complex weapon systems by the Pentagon. He had a large following that said the F-15, M-1 and many other such systems were simply wrong. We had guys wanting to fill the skies with P-51s or F-5s.

Has any one of these “expert” posters in this thread ever been inside a jet fighter?
I think not.

Don’t comment about things of which you are clueless.

Is your livelihood dependent upon the F-35?
