Yep. I think this was Trump telling Ryan he better sack up and get on board. It will be interesting to see what happens with him.

It is going to be very, very difficult for me to vote for Kelly Ayotte in November.

I will do it, but I won’t like it. At all.

The problem with your theory is, he has to get elected first. And that will be very difficult if the rift in the party is not healed. This is the first step in the healing process and I pray it works. The next step would be for Ryan and Cruz to endorse Trump. Let’s get this train running with all wheels on the track and pulling in the right direction.

We can save the fight amongst ourselves for later. Time to aim outward.

The election is three months away.

A Trump endorsement of Ryan, a state loaded with #NeverTrump’ers, should put Nehlen over the top.

Paul Ryan needs to loser the speaker position after this election ( assuming he wins in Wisconsin)

Not to worry, the Khan job is steadily being exposed.

Don’t judge without listening to/reading the ‘endorsement’.

Pence ‘endorsed’ Cruz prior to the Indiana primary. It was actually a non-endorsement endorsement.

Trump is now the full-throated leader of the Republican Party, and he needs first to win this election and second, have a Republican Congress that will implement his legislative agenda. He needs their support right now, so Trump will supportbthem, unify the party, and meet the new boss.

Payback starts next year.

But they won’t. I expect that Ryan will continue to stick knives in Trump’s ribs; and McCain will never be able to contain himself and will denounce Trump’s defend America first stance whenever he wants to push Muslims, illegal aliens and internationalism.

It had to be done. You think Trump loved those endorsements? We have to win. Losing is not an option. We absolutely have to win. We also cannot afford to lose Ayotte’s senate seat.

IA and it probably had to be done because of the rancor. Frankly, I don’t care who he endorses; I vote how I please.

What he just did was a “Reagan Selects GHW Bush”. In other words, he did what he was told to do.

IMO it’s not appropriate to endorse one republican over the other. But what he did was worse. He endorsed the “problem”.

Many of those who voted for him are becoming very disappointed and some are so disillusioned they’ll stay home on election day. At the very least it will kill any momentum he had.

And McCain and the rest will continue to bash him.

I just can’t allow myself to get too excited about all of this. Because I can’t make myself believe in the system. It’s way too corrupt. But I can always rationalize and say he’s doing this because he knows he’ll need them once he’s president.

He wasn’t going to pull a Cruz on Ryan. Ryan though tepid did endorse Trump at the convention. The initial stall was to get Ryan to understand if he wants presidential access then get in line.

The further endorsements are for the same reasons plus to undercut the MSMs narrative of fragmentation in the Republicans infighting ‘interventions’ “etc. Now is time to unify.

Stop the BS calling Trump out. I call you posters out whose support seems to be easily compromised. He is showing he is a man and not engaging in infantile payback like Cruz pulled.
