Here is my take. You can’t be distracted by the varmints when you are hunting a trophy. You only have so much ammunition. Time to refocus!

I do think he needs Wisconsin. Don’t forget what Wisconsin Republicans have already been through. With the recall and the legislature running to Illinois and the rigged prosecutions they have been through the fire. Many Minnesota Republicans helped with lit drops and phone banks during the recall. It was inspiring to see the way they had each others backs. I just hope the damage can be mended by fall. They do hate the Clintons so there’s that.

He didn’t “snub” Trump. I live near GB and there are over 10,000 people packed in downtown as I am here now. Ryan just didn’t decide to join Trump.

Sorry, that’s just spin. Ryan is Speaker of the House and his party’s POTUS nom is in his state to formally endorse him. Couldn’t be a more clear snub by Ryan. Very, very disappointed in Ryan’s tantrum.

Looks like Trump has done a 180 and is now main stream republican.

Hysterical much?

Vote TrumP!

You have no way of knowing this. AZ is an open primary - why do you think McCain has been re-elected time after time? He gets the Dem votes - that’s why. If the Dems think that Trump wants McCain to win - possibly, they will sit out the election and then Kelli will win. Who knows? Trump has to unify the party - and the fact that Ryan said there wouldn’t be a vote on TPP this year - tells me Trump won the battle.

‘Next comes the “Immigration compromise”.’

Yep, the only question if it will be before or after November...

And we might have to ally with Putin to defeat ISIS too.

I also do not doubt his decision or the announcement (made on a Friday night before the Tuesday primary) and wonder if maybe it looks like Nehlen might win.

And of course McCain will not reciprocate Trump’s help.

Probably true

McCain will figure he got Trump to heel

You have a man like Trump who knows how to play the game and compile a huge fortune. He is now schooling the politicians and the media. Take a deep breath and please cool your heels on this. This was a courtesy call out. It changes nothing and makes him look magnanimous. It’s a beautiful move. If he would have endorsed them weeks ago and kept praising them... that’s one thing. Remember, just a few days ago he said he was still not sure about Ryan. The primary voters are pretty well set. This is a hold-harmless move. Relax.

Your point of view is your point of view, and it’s politically ignorant and naive. We have less than 3 months to win the WH, and do you really believe that Trump doesn’t need all the support he can get - even if it’s from the GOPE? Grow up!

Like it or not Trump needs the party to get elected.

Or, at the very least he needs them to fly air cover for him instead of Clinton.

At best it's a marriage of convenience for all.

The truth is if McCain wins he will be senator for life.

Not if I can help it.

“I think we have been shafted again.
Looks like Trump has done a 180 and is now main stream republican.”

OH stop it, for goodness sake. Trump is momentarily bowing to political expediency in order to present a semblance of a unified party in order to win the Presidency. We’ve been out of power for the past 8 years, if you haven’t noticed. Once Trump wins, he won’t have to kiss *ss anymore, and believe me he won’t. He’ll be in the catbird seat then and if Ryan or McCain, or Ayotte cross him when he is Pres, it will be at their own peril. He’ll be able to take the gloves off and let them have it. So, bottom line, don’t get your pants in a bunch. We win first, and then payback to GOPe RINOs comes later and Trump is very good at holding a grudge. He’s filed these 3 RINOs into his memory bank, and will exact his revenge at the appropriate time.

The Trump endorsement will not save McCain if he is down. It was a last minute smile, nothing more. If anything, he made McCain and Ryan look like anti-party pigs.

Trump cannot win this without the RNC; the RNC isn’t going to help Trump if he doesn’t endorse Ryan.

I am going to vote for Trump . But he did throw Nehlen under the bus. You have to stop trying to make believe it didn't happen. There is no denying it. Trump is now getting bad advice. He needs to learn from this misstep.

Trumps initial gut instinct were to back Nehlen and not endorse Ryan. He should stick with his gut.

These Establishment GOPers are not whimps. They are thugs and bullies.

Ok let me see Ryan get up on stage and tell us he wants a wall, Ok lets see it. I am waiting.

He’s come too far to let the GOPe thugs undercut him and drag his numbers down. He’s moving on. He wants to WIN Wisconsin.
