The unlikely to vote could be a great resource to draw on if we can get them to the polls. I wonder if there is an organized effort to register them and get them out on election day?

This is where the lack of a ground game could be a problem, but I do think he can win this way. For good or ill in most states the democrats have made it very easy to register and vote. In many places you can register at the polling place on Election Day. You can vote by mail and you can vote at the dmv.

Traditional non voters are usually ignored, but for those of us in Minnesota this is not new. This is how Jesse Ventura got elected. He was a celebrity who ran against the establishment. The biggest difference between Ventura and Trump is Ventura ran as the Independence Party Candidate and Trump is running as a Republican. Trump has to convince people who have hated the whole system for years to vote for a “Republican”. Or he needs to convince them his is not really a Republican without losing 25 to 30 percent of the Republicans. It’s tricky, but doable.
