1) Comey said that she told the truth to the FBI
2) Clinton said she told the FBI the same as has told the public.
3) Comey - in response to Rep Gowdy - agreed that everything
Clinton has said in public were lies.
So, these statements are not internally consistent. We know what Comey said about her statement to the FBI (not as clear-cut as she wants to make it) and we know what he said to Rep Gowdy.
Conclusion: Once again a bald-faced lie.
Bigtime, embellished with additional lies. Her surrogates are out with the line that Comey settled this already, no wrongdoing. Continued talking about the e-mails is a conspiracy that won't change any votes. She is planning to "wear out" the public on this story. An answer isn;t important, all one gets from this is either she is a liar, or she is not a liar.
I disagree.
Comey never said this, and he has no way to vouch for her telling the truth. He would be irresponsible if he even made that statement.
What Comey said was that Hillary didn't lie to the FBI about the things they had evidence of and questioned her about .
