Try and find something you need right away that is manufactured here in the U.S.A. .... I recently bought a guitar capo and the package said ‘made in the USA’. However the capo was stamped ‘made in China. When I complained the store owner said the cardboard that the product was attached to was the part made in the USA.....
Precisely. Packaging is made in USA. Perhaps even assembled in the USA (and costs 3x more). The plastic, steel, aluminum and everything else is from China. It is a neat trick. Most “Made in USA” products have all components made in China. THAT causes high trade deficits.
