I don't know. Most of the speech was vintage Trump with the bombast turned down from "11" to "4". Same message, lots of energy, still irreverent, still some real zingers (like mocking Hillary's disgusting habits, (or something) whatever that is).
Maybe the intervention was a bit of grousing, then Trump says, "You type up the endorsements, and I'll read them word for word." Put the onus on the grousers.
Is he being controlled? Sure - but to what extent, and for what effect? It's not like he tradied his position on the wall, or immigration, or TPP, or anything else.
My biggest concern is that Nehlen and Ward just got sandbagged.
So for little gain to Trump, two solutions to future problems just got thrown away.
Not cool. And Nehlen was at the rally tonight.
This caught my ear too. 'Her disgusting habits'. I think it's a private dig on her drinking, among other things.
