Please study these charts. Look at them every day. By August 15 Reagan and Carter were in a virtual tie with each other. October 15th Carter was 8 points up.
I guess if I ask if it’s breakfast yet, someone will tell me to go back to bed...
Morning, everyone!
LA Times daily tracking poll (Aug 5):
Date-——————Trump-————Clinton-——Diff
Aug 4-——————44.6—————45.2-———HC+0.6
Aug 3-——————44.2—————44.8-———HC+0.6
Today is the first day since July 27 that Trump hasn’t lost ground to Clinton.
Good Morning! I hope today folks will not stress out over Mr. Trump because it plays into the hands of the left.
Good morning and thank you nikos!
Never wavering in support for TRUMP!!!!!!!
Are they kidding? Trump should be at Lambeau - the stadium will be bursting at the seams; major tailgating barbeques for sure.
Yes, in 1980 the media did their darnedest to portray Reagan as a loose cannon who would take America to a dangerous place. They did their best to re-elect Carter and yes, the polls had Carter up by 8 points in mid-October.
We know now that this was impossible and that Reagan’s election was a near certainty all along. But the media had the power to establish a different narrative all through the election cycle.
We are seeing the same tactics this year, only with more vigor, as the stakes are even higher.
It is early yet, most people haven’t even started focusing on the election.
What I believe the Trump campaign should do is start focusing on what amounts to a non-campaign by Clinton and Kaine. If you look at their campaign schedule, you will find that for the remainder of August, Kaine has 2 “organizing” events scheduled. As for Clinton, she appears at a convention today in DC, then a “organizing event” with Biden in Scranton on 15 August, and a fundraiser on 21 August. Since her coronation, her few rallies have been pretty small, ranging from a few hundred to a few thousand, and there hasn’t been very many rallies at all.
It is time to start asking if Clinton is even healthy enough to withstand the rigors of an actual campaign.
It looks to me that her campaign consists primarily of getting the media to savage Trump, while she does almost nothing on her own behalf. She is obviously avoiding all but the most gentle one on one interviews, having given her last press conference on 4 December 2015. Her strange response to a protester of some sort at her tiny event in Las Vegas yesterday, and the fact she needs a chair to sit in during her events, makes it look like she is pretty frail, and more than a bit odd.
That Green Bay venue looks mighty small. I bet some of the partitions come out! This could be an important event to the Ryan race.
Contains a list of the party members and party operatives who comprise the POLITICO Caucus.
The POLITICO Caucus - a panel of activists, strategists and operatives in 11 swing states. The majority of GOP insiders, 70 percent, said they want Trump to drop out of the race and be replaced by another Republican candidate ..."Trump won the nomination," a Michigan Republican said. "He should lose fair and square. Only then will the party base have to reckon with what they've done."
"I want Trump to feel the blame for this loss," added an Iowa Republican, "not put it on the doorstep of 'the Establishment.'"
The Iowa Republican predicted that rumors of a Trump exit are likely only to get louder: "Talk of Trump dropping out will reach a fevered pitch next week, when his poll numbers bottom out," the Republican said. "We need to brace ourselves."
That is just a sampling. Many more similar sentiments expressed. Nothing new.
Morning folks. I don’t post much in these threads but I really appreciate them being here & enjoy reading what folks have to say. The liars in the MSM continue to make stuff up in hopes of taking down our excellent nominee. They will fail & together we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! Peace be with you all!

Tying it to all the Trump/Russia canards floated by the press.
So, what’ll be his message to corn growers?
I drive there sometimes and it is literally seas of corn.

Nice map!
At the Reagan Library, the map colors are reversed - blue is Republican, commie red is appropriately Democrat.
Great reminder, Nikos.
This is way to early to put any faith in polls.
By the way, show the girls in the office my post 102.
Pence gave a good warm up, and the man is on now. Starts digging in on You Know Who...LOL.
