He should have held off on the endorsements until the end of this rally because as soon as he did CNN and Fox broke away from the Rally and started in on him for having “caved”/changed his mind from last week.
As much as I hated to see him endorse Ryan, I think everyone who knows Trump, knows he doesn’t mean it. That’s the nice thing about it.

He's new to politics, but he learns fast. Nothing shocking at all from these backstabbers. It's all about power, and that ostensibly flows from the voters - or where the voters can be cowed, from the donors.
It takes time to build political power, and Trump is not "there" yet. He's on his way, but he is not there. One thing, for sure, he knows how to play hardball. He'll start to absorb hits, and save revenge for later.
I refuse to watch the Olympics; but by all means..YOU toddle off and go watch that.
As president, Trump will continue the bully pulpit that he is using right now. If these people he endorsed try to thwart him, he will have torches and pitchforks on Capitol Hill overnight.
