The pollsters must be looking at the coming massive voter fraud and are just trying to get on top of the game so they look accurate when the final votes are counted.

From the article:

"This survey of 1,132 adults was conducted August 1, sponsored and funded in partnership with McClatchy News Service. Adults 18 years of age and older residing in the contiguous United States were contacted on landline or mobile numbers and interviewed in English by telephone using live interviewers. Landline telephone numbers were randomly selected based upon a list of telephone exchanges from throughout the nation from ASDE Survey Sampler, Inc. The exchanges were selected to ensure that each region was represented in proportion to its population. Respondents in the household were randomly selected by first asking for the youngest male. This landline sample was combined with respondents reached through random dialing of cell phone numbers from Survey Sampling International. After the interviews were completed, the two samples were combined and balanced to reflect the 2013 American Community Survey 1-year estimates for age, gender, income, race, and region. Results are statistically significant within 2.9 percentage points. There are 983 registered voters. The results for this subset are statistically significant within 3.1 percentage points. The error margin was not adjusted for sample weights and increases for cross-tabulations."

It's total and complete shit. And nothing but shit.

I think i’ll be sick shortly. Another Rep disaster is looming.

Go ahead and puke your guts out. The way I see it..... it's a no lose situation. Either Trump wins, or the republican party is destroyed forever. That's a win either way.

We need to look at families of polls, as well as what their historical bias has been — not just one poll. Without such context I really can say very little more than “Huh.”

Landline today would bias towards poor people.

You are correct. Just the women and minority vote put her over 40% if you do the math. Get out in public and look around. I saw a poll where she is getting 80% of the non-white vote. Scary stuff.

I’m not a big Trump fan, but I will eagerly vote for him over Hillary. This is just a last gasp effort by powers that be to steal. When this effort wanes Trump will be stronger than before.I have multiple FB friends saying that in the last few days they have decided that they cannot vote for Trump. BS they were encouraged to post that crap.

Trump is talking about Hillary and his plans— it is the media trying to bring him down— he needs to find a way around the media— it doesnt matter what he says— the media will call him insane..

“GOTV” is another word for voter fraud. The Reps have never been able to compete with the Dems in that department.

No matter WHO the idiot GOP ran for president the odds are severely stacked against a Republican candidate. We may have passed the point of no return demographically.

Prepare for it.

Trump has a great message, but he is up against Clinton. And Clinton isn't Huckabee. Welcome to the major leagues.

There is plenty of time.

The polls are propaganda. Trump has turnouts of 20,000 wherever he goes; Hillary has turnouts of 200, half of which are her entourage and the media (but I repeat myself).

I am beginning to sense people not wanting to believe that Trump may be in trouble. People can say all they want about polling, but I have learned my lesson from 2012. Trump has made some self-inflicted wounds which are magnified with a media that will do whatever it takes to help Hillary win.

Trump needs to stop getting off on these tangents and go back to attacking Hillary and Obama (and their policies) while explaining why his policies are better for the country.

Once again, my temporarily dyslexic eyes saw part of the headline at a glance as: McClatchy-Marxist poll.

Not only is this just adults with the youngest in the household but: a total of 50% Strong Dems/Dems/ leaning Dems; only 38% Strong Pubs/Pubs/leaning pubs.

This is pure gaslighting. Can we take the lying heat and not buckle. Can the current Trump supporters hold the line against the lies and the smears and slam back.

There needs to be some PAC attack dogs going after this. Trump has got to have some media savvy folks with some answer.

I forgot about that! I hope but I doubt it will indict her as she is above the law as we have seen, but hopefully it will wake people up

Landline today would bias towards poor people.

I generally don't answer the phone (cell or landline) unless someone leaves me a message.

My cell phone has a number of blank messages with callback numbers ("the survey has ended") and there are a lot of hangups/blank messages on my landline's answering machine.

The telephone (cell and landline) polls count people responding. I wonder, however, how many people out there are like me, who know they are voting for Trump, and are irritated by pollsters calling? We just would rather know who is calling before we answer.
