On Hardball, Chuck Todd called it a “fantasy,” but . . . he reported that some Republicans think that maybe they can talk Donald Trump into quitting, and that an ideal replacement ticket would be Mike Pence and Nikki Haley.
Chris Matthews was very skeptical, saying that there’d never be a week when Pence could beat Hillary, because he lacks the “pizazz.” Todd replied that some Republicans believe that a generic Republicans could beat Clinton. Todd quoted one Republican as saying “take any two people in the White Pages. Make them the ticket. Put R’s next to their name, and put them on a desert island and not say anything, and they think that candidate gets 47%.” Then again, how tuned in can someone be who still thinks in terms of the “White Pages?”

Yesterday's rallies were wonderful. Perhaps Trump should keep that Sessions aide, Flynn, and a small loyal inner circle (with maybe just Eric from the family) with him at all times, to keep Trump focused and away from those whose influences aren't helping, and just might be working for the nevertrump crowd.
That's the way I see it, anyway.

Trump is the nominee. If anything, it would need to be Sessions/Pence, as Sessions is the closest on the policies that won the nomination.
One of Clinton methods is that if you’re guilty of something, throw the accusation at your opponent first. Sell Uranium rights to Putin/Russia -> accuse Trump of ties to Putin. Suffer brain injury and have difficulty distinguishing truth from fiction -> question Trumps metal health. Guilty of crimes that would force you to drop out -> float stories about Trump needing to drop out.

How is it that our MSM is dominated by left-wingers like them who start out working for Democrats in politics and then slide into taking over major media slots?? Stephanopoulos comes to mind, too. Are there any Republican counterparts who are allowed to infiltrate the media in the same ways? Not as optional talking heads but as anchors and “core” MSM positions like theirs.... the biases of the media are so blatant.
Don’t fret, this is merely lying ‘Rats in the media trying to stir stuff up. They are dishonest propagandists of a very low order.

In the next few days, we will know the 96 hours all out attack on Trump is effective or not.
