I might be wrong, but isn’t the Oath sworn to the Country/Constitution.
The oath is to the US Constitution.

I believe they’re very scared.
If their racket collapses and the truths about them are known publicly, they’ll lose so much, and we’ll need to fill GTMO and build more prisons. The noose must be worrisome for many of them, as well.
