Trump and his team and his candidacy are falling apart.
Disunity gives the throne to Clinton and Obama; insanity, temporary or otherwise without remedy. It should be avoided.
Good stuff. I note the NY Slimes is trying to sell this as a split between Pence and Trump. So they’ll just ignore the fact DT TOLD Pence to endorse him and STRONGLY SO. So presumably if he told him NOT to he would have NOT done so.
Trump better put Pence on a shorter leash. Pence can screw this up for Donald. Donald needs a new speaker to get anything done. Hopefully a non globalist speaker.
In an ideal world Trump could stage a big rally in Ryan’s district and actively campaign against him. In this world, Priebus was having a nervous breakdown over Trump’s refusal to endorse. The Pence compromise calms Priebus down while keeping Trump’s non-endorsement intact.
Sometimes you can’t have it all. This is a good compromise.
Noting that I will gladly Vote Trump, please consider the following.
I guess that it should be no surprise that constitutionally low-information Trump would choose a running mate who arguably knows less about the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers, and associatd limited power to appropriate taxes, than Trump does imo. (Trump may have read the Constitution, but you also need to study the writings of the founders and key statements in Supreme Court case opinions to really get a grip on the Founding States’ intentions for the feds constitutionally limited powers.)
I’m supporting Trump because because patriots, particularly those who participate in FR, should have no trouble getting Trump up to speed on the fed’s constitutionally limited powers.
As a side note, Constitution-savvy Trump supporters may be getting Trump up to speed with the fed’s limited powers at this very moment. But as articles that FReepers have referenced indicate, Trump deliberately talks to people at a 4th grade level to help insure that his ideas are understood by as many people as possible.
So Trump’s approach to mentioning 10th Amendment-protected state sovereignty may become, “it’s probably better for the states to decide ...”

He is a ticking globalist establishment time bomb ready to go rouge. I can see it in his eyes. He is the weak link that will be exploited.
Pence should have known better. He should know Trump supporters hate Ryan.
Trump is letting Pence speak for himself. In this election, that’s a good thing. Pence can say things as VP candidate Trump shouldn’t. It’s excellent strategy, IMO.
