According to the officials who handle U.S. immigration and security, however, the most practical problem with Trump's plan is not about social controversy or discrimination.
It's about governing — and whether a plan that may cripple the immigration system could actually be implemented.
It is a major question in this year's politics, a field long known as the "art of the possible."

I'm just saying that the Ellis Island era standard should be a bare minimum and it is not.
You would think that between the terrorist activity among refugees and diseases being brought back here that we got rid of decades ago, any reasonable immigration officials would call an immediate halt to everything to avoid further disaster...
They don’t work for the Americans who provide their paycheck, for the most part. They work for the globalists.
Immigration policies are not going to change. The most influential donors, sponsors, cabinet members and members of Congress won’t allow it.
If it’s too hard to do - then make it easy - - STOP ALL IMMIGRATION.
Roads are overcrowded, same with schools... and jobs are hard to come by... Close it all down - - NO MORE IMMIGRANTS for 10 years. That should work.

Seems to me less volume would make their job easier, so they could spend more time surfing for porn on government computers.

Islam is not a religion. It’s an ideology. Trump needs to start saying that often. At the very least it is not a religion that can co-exist with the government of a free nation.

Are you going to want to deport what some consider one of the best Presidents ever? I know it's controversial but he gets his salary for the rest of his life. If he spends his $$ on terrorism as Islam commands him to do, are you still in favor of paying him his retirement? (/sarc)
We don’t need anymore immigration from anywhere. We have 330 million people in this country. The West has been won and the Industrial Revolution is over. We need to shut it down and try to assimilate the ones who are here. After we kick out the illegals of course.

FRiends - please help me out here if you have a minute. A liberal family member has sent me another email this morning saying that Trump’s new immigration policy doesn’t include any countries where he has business interests. Saudi Arabia was used as an example. I want to respond and am looking for help from Freepers. Does anyone know how they came up with the list of countries? I fully support what he’s doing by the way.

Muslims live in more than 7 banned countries, so I guess it is not religious.
