Hitching ones wagon to Ted Cruz was not a conservative move.

I’m not going to re-fight the primary. Trump won, he is our nominee. I moved on. You might want to do the same.

However, I am also not going to cheer the ousting of the solid conservative members of congress, just because they didn’t worship Trump from the beginning. I worked too hard to get these people elected.
Sure, there have been some disappointments, but we also elected a lot of reliable conservatives.

It has nothing to do with not worshipping Trump from the beginning. The problem arose after Trump won more than enough delegates to secure the nomination. At that point the neverTrump movement could only serve to undermine the GOP nominee, which in turn benefited Hillary.

That’s the problem, and the voters are well aware of it.
