Polls suggest Paul Ryan insulated from Donald Trump angst
Milwaukee Journal Sentinel ^ | 8/3/16 | C Gilbert

Donald Trump’s refusal to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan is a head-turning election story, a new milestone in a bad political marriage and a sign of extreme, ongoing Republican turmoil.

But there’s little evidence in the polling so far that it will seriously hurt Ryan back home in Wisconsin, where the Janesville congressman faces a GOP primary next week against first-time candidate and Trump supporter Paul Nehlen.

Surveys this summer show Ryan is much more popular than Trump in Wisconsin. That is true in Ryan’s congressional district and statewide. And it is true for voters both inside and outside the Republican Party.

The polls show no sign of a pro-Trump backlash against Ryan, who endorsed Trump but has repeatedly distanced himself from Trump’s rhetoric and ideas. In an early July survey, Ryan was just as popular in Wisconsin among Republicans who support Trump as he was among those who don’t.

I'm not sure how true, but Romeny's super pac "Our Principles PAC" and others went all out on Wisconsin to hurt Trump there before the primaries. STILL, if you look at the map of Wisconsin Trump only lost in a couple areas, there was massive one sided voter fraud being reported and then if you searched youtube the day after the primaries it was loaded with Pro-Trump anti-Cruz personal videos.

If you call the Urinal Sentinel a reliable source.....I do, however, think the gist of the article is true.

Let’s see what happens this Saturday when Ann Coulter gins the base up with her two rallies with Nehlen.

I really hope the turnout factor will carry the day for our nation.

It’s amazing that so few people can decide our fate in this primary.

There will be a LOT of Dems voting for Ryan. Obama is quietly helping him keep his job. Cantor did not have that luxury.

"If one were a dem., for whom would he vote?"

-Well, if they are anti-TPP and anti-Syrian refugees , which you would expect, they should vote dem... Praying for a Paul Ryan loss.

They don’t want America.

They want a North American Union. Open borders for north America and then globally. No more nations.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_Union

As Joe Biden said, “We are all Americans.”

Of course, what this means is the U.S. will become a third world hell hole.

But leftists believe we stole our country and our wealth and it’s only ‘fair’ to hand it all over.

And our big ‘right wing’ news station Fox? All for it:

Paul Rino likely has the bulk of his support in Milwaukee and not much anywhere else.

As flawed as Donald is if we were unified there’s no way he would lose.

We simply can’t unify because the Pro-American wing of the GOP can never reconcile with the globalist-corportist wing. We are in a battle for the soul of the GOP. It is clear now that globalist GOPers such as Ted Cruz prefer the Democrats and their SCOTUS picks to a Pro-American GOP agenda. Sadly, the corportists are duping some good folks with bought and paid for chattering class propagandists. If Trump can’t break through that propaganda nobody will, IMO.

Can we get Red to throw a last minute endorsement to Ryan also? I like his results.

GOP is marketing Paul Ryan as the “New Face Of the Republican Party” who will appeal to the “New, Pro Immigration Multicultural American” voter. The “Young, Dynamic, Brilliant Conservative With Fresh Ideas” is slated to run against the “Failed, Elderly Woman” in 2020.

Trump was a “Spasm” of old, reactionary, racist White men who by 2020 will be either dead or in nursing homes.

That’s the plan that’s been in place since Jeb dropped out.

Welcome to the Brave New World of Globalist Neo-Fascism.

This primary is happening too early. Kelly Ward has a better shot in AZ.

You do know that Huelskamp is the Conservative and Marshall is the liberal RINO Establishment puppet back by Ryan, Boehner and those cretins.

******************************************

They don’t care. He didn’t worship Trump, so he had to go. The Trump supporters teamed up with the GOPe and got rid of a solid conservative. That won’t happen with Ryan.

The Trump supporters will get crushed by the Ryan and GOPe, and now they have one less conservative to fight them.
