Donald Trump is getting nuttier and nuttier, according to those within the tycoons presidential campaign, who say they are increasingly frustrated by his outrageous comments and behavior.
The Republican candidate has been engaged in a prolonged war of words with Khizr and Ghazala Khan whose son, a US Army officer, was killed in Iraq in 2004 which many inside the presidential campaign see as, at the very least, a total distraction.
I did not think hed be great in a general election, and thought thered be episodes of paranoia/irrationality, but this is surprising for me, one Trump operative told The Post.
Trump is getting nuttier and nuttier, the person added.

Take the Khan flap, which the media simply will not abandon. How should one address it?
First of all, absolutely avoid questioning the heroism of the Khan's son, or his devotion. There is no way attacking a dead American--killed in combat--will make any sense. The attack should be focused on the Hillary campaign, which exploited that death, when they found out that the father had a Leftist commitment to a loose immigration policy, no real understanding of the Constitution, and was willing to denounce Donald Trump.
The senior Khan was on the speaking list precisely because of the potential to set up the present flap. But it was not Donald Trump who made his son a factor in a cheap political ploy. That exploitation was on Hillary's behalf. The Hillary campaign used the Khans; tastelessly used the Khans as puppets for her purposes.
Focus on this abuse of a brave man's heroism. And if someone comes back that his life disproves Trump's concern that it is not safe to admit large numbers of immigrants from lands where there is a major terrorist presence, point out that the Constitution absolutely looks to protecting the Americans--indeed imposes the moral duty to put Americans first. (See Trump: The Issue.) Trump simply understands that the sole purpose of any Federal policy must always be to serve the American population, never any foreign interest.
The essential point in political confrontations, is on how you focus the attention of anyone you are trying to win over. We have an uphill battle because of the mass media. But, if we all will really get involved, we will find that we also have a powerful weapon against that impediment. We are on the side of truth, honor & any future worth the having.
I agree...if only the MSM would cooperate. They are now in full twist words, outright lie, and bash Trump mode.
But even in this...Obama is NOT running....this is another tactic to keep the focus off Hillary’s record. Obama’s going to make himself a target rather than Hillary to protect her....she is in no form to handle it herself.....besides that Mill is calling in all his cards now against those who might otherwise not get involved....for Him it’s pay back time to seat his wife as promised....either willingly or he will let out all the dirt he has on everyone.
She was off the trail yesterdaysomething about a funeral.
It’s too late to switch horses. They are simply pretending they don’t know him to avoid the tar-baby effect.
The NY Post headlined another article calling Trump supporters “White Trash”. Just spreading the narritive of the Corrupt Liberal Media.
It doesn’t matter and this is no different than any other “controversial” statements he has made, so how is this nuttier?... Trump dominated the news AGAIN this week. While Hillary had to pay for ad time. This just means the press will be covering every rally every day....
The danger with posting something like this is that someone, somewhere will take this phrase out of context:
"he is going to Hillary's campaign because he thinks Trump is literally insane."
They will say that this was stated on the FreeRepublic Forum.
We are up against people with little honor and less honesty.
No kidding. The only thing "transparent" is how in the tank the globalist/one world cucks are to keep their rotten agenda going and how absolutely terrified they are of Donald John Trump our next President.
Crazy like a fox.
A NY Post story. Say NO more.
Tame compared to what they could have said about Churchill back in the day.
Name names, or it didn’t happen.
where do they get this stuff?
From hillary supporters inside the Trump Campaign of course.
“we are losing”
Bullshite! The MSM’s ability to sway people is greatly diminished since 2012 & voters haven’t been buying into their fabrications. The revelations of the collusion between the DNC & other MSM networks diminishes their ability to influence the election even more. Believe in our nominee & not the MSM!
Vote Trump 2016
No honor, and they are evil. But it is impossible to compose a statement that can't be twisted somehow. Many things are said in jest on FR, you are going to be very busy if you try to stamp out the risk of FR posts being misinterpreted.
I used to care about falsehoods being posted on FR, and in good faith made corrections. I quit that, for the most part. It creates enemies, and there are so many falsehoods that it is impossible to correct them all.
More manufactured outrage. Yawn.
Giving $400 million in cash to a terrorist state and running arms to ISIS isn’t nutty?
VERY WELL SAID HarleyLady we have the FIGHTER we have been BEGGING for and YET I am finding most on our side have become SOOOOO conditioned in PC they are finding Trump in the wrong!!! OMG I am SOOOOOO disappointed that WE on our side are buying this CRAP and NOT fighting along WITH Trump to RESTORE our FREE speech!!!! This IS TRULY the fight of our lifetimes and they are CLUTCHING their pearls !!!!!
It could be someone they made up. Reporters lie.
