In reality, amnesty is alive and well.
Illegals have their jobs, displacing some poor American citizen. Unless they do something really terrible, they are happily making a living and sending money back to Mexico.
To really stop amnesty, EVERY ILLEGAL MUST BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE, wait in the legal line of immigrants. Until that happens, Amnesty is alive and well.
